It’s that time again. Friday/Sunday stream targets to finish out the week. Get those claims in today so you don’t miss out! Unless you’re in one of them fancy same-day adds leagues.

Next week is All-Star week, so I’ll be taking the week off.

Note: For the sake of uniformity and convenience on my part, only players rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues will be included. Also, a “***” denotes a priority stream, in my humble opinion.

Boston Bruins (@ARZ, @DAL)

Erik Haula (12%): This guy epitomizes “fringe.” Sometimes he’s sexy enough to hold, but he’s almost never been sexy enough to be a draft day darling. And right now he happens to be sexy enough to stream. Has 1 G and 4 A (1 PPP) in his last seven games, with 13 SOG and 8 H in that time. Not stellar stuff, but streamable and work-with-able.

Charlie Coyle (10%): Need a C/RW who can maybe get points but also bang like a D (that’s what she said)? Coyle has 8 SOG, 11 H, 7 BLK in his last seven, getting top-six minutes these days and chipping in a goal and assist in that span. Would probably just avoid if your league doesn’t count blocks, but if it does then plug him in for some extra help there.

Curtis Lazar (1%): Lazar has 25 hits in his last seven. Also happens to have 2 G and 1 A in that time, but of course you can’t count on this dude to bring points with any semblance of consistency. Hits, though? Yeah, he can do that.

Colorado Avalanche (@CHI, BUF)

***Valeri Nichushkin (29%): Getting top-six minutes is an automatic elite stream when you play for the Colorado Avalanche. Brings good SOG+H, with 20 of those in just the last four games. Stream this cat. But alas, Colorado is so damn delicious that he’s the only worthwhile stream cuz everyone else is rostered.

Dallas Stars (WSH, BOS)

***Esa Lindell (20%): A stat you should start to pay attention to — if you don’t already — is BSH: blocks+shots+hits. I’ve got my own fancy (not fancy tbh) spreadsheet that has been tracking that all year, but now Dobber has gone and made it a standard category they track in their Multi-Category reports. Esa Lindell is one of the very best in the business at BSH, even if he’s not bringing great scoring to the table. But lately Dallas is so hot that even Lindell is getting points: he has 2 G and 4 A in his last eight games. And in that span he’s got 21 SOG, 14 H, and 13 BLK. That’s massive category value. Massive. His 237 BSH rank #14 among all D.

Jani Hakanpaa (3%): Always a strong stream for H+BLK. Has 31 of those in his last eight.

Minnesota Wild (@NYR, @NYI)

***Matt Boldy (5%): Have you been keeping tabs on the Wild’s prospect pipeline? It’s ridiculous. Boldy has been *hype* for, like, forever, and now he’s in the show and killin’ it. They’ve got so many other guys, too…maybe you’ve heard of that Rossi kid or that Beckman kid. Ridonk. Anyway, Boldy is getting big minutes lately and has 2 G and 3 A in his last five. Kid is legit. This ain’t a fluke. Keep him on your radar next time you draft a fantasy hockey team.

Jonas Brodin (12%): Reports seem to indicate that Brodin will be good to go for Friday’s game. I don’t know if he immediately slots back into PP1 or if they keep Spurgeon, who’s hot, there instead. Stream for upside regardless, cuz the Wild are just that good.

New York Rangers (MIN, SEA)

Barclay Goodrow (13%): Goodrow? More like Mediocrerow amirite? Good one, JKJ! Anyhoodles, he’s an okay stream. Deployment is good these days (top six alongside Strome and Lafreniere) and he bangs. Good blocks for a forward.

Ryan Reaves (5%): Always an elite stream for hits.

Pittsburgh Penguins (DET, LA)

***Jeff Carter (44%): Mentioned him last week and he’s still under 50% rostered, so he gets the call again this week. Once again I dub him a priority stream for his points upside (6 PTS in his last seven) and SOG upside (19 SOG in that same span). Blocks are pretty strong, too.

Brian Dumoulin (7%): He’s been scoring of late, but that’s not something you should really ever expect from him. Good for H+BLK and nothing else.
