Hey guys! Sven here back with another Buy/Sell/Hold. I will simply be looking at what these particular players have done performance-wise so far this season, and what I anticipate. Let me know if you guys like this type of content!

ALL STATS ARE AS OF THE MORNING OF OCTOBER 25

BUY:

Micheal Ferland – 9GP 6-3-9. Ohhhhh baby does this guy score in bunches. With goals in his last four games, Ferland is a guy you can stream on his highs, then drop him and likely not worry about him getting picked up. I expect 20-25 rips from the guy, so choose your time to pick him up wisely!

Josh Morrissey – 10GP 1-6-7. With a loaded up right-side, Morrissey has thankfully blossomed into the top-line left-handed shot the Jets needed (no disrespect to Mark Stuart or Ben Chiarot). I think he’s a pretty safe option given his TOI and clear ability to chip in points so far. Get your hands on him while he’s hot!

Matt Grzelcyk – 9GP 0-5-5. Ride this guy while the Bruins have their injuries! He is seeing a solid amount of ice-time thus far and has been chipping in offensively. As a B’s fan this came as a huge surprise, but the kid looks good.

Neal Pionk – 7GP 0-6-6. This guy has turned into a minute MUNCHER for the Rangers, and has six points in his last three games. That output is by no means sustainable, but keep your eye out for this guy moving forward.

Zach Parise – 8GP 3-7-10. I touched on Parise a bit in the comments of last week’s post, but I see him as a hold-till-injured guy. He is off to a career-reviving start thus far, but I’m not sure if this production is sustainable and he could go down with an injury faster than you can say Mariusz Czerkawski.

Craig Smith – 9GP 4-1-5. First line PP and #2RW on one of the league’s best teams, Craig Smith has three rips in his last four and is sure to keep producing.

Nick Ritchie – 1GP 0-0-0. Ritchie just signed a three-year contract with the Ducks after a lengthy dispute, and is now the Ducks’ #1LW. With three SOG and 14:49 TOI in his first game, I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts chipping in. This one may be a bit of a stretch, but keep your eye out!

SELL:

Anthony Mantha – 9GP 1-2-3. From first line to fourth line seemingly out of nowhere, coach Blashill says Mantha’s lack of consistency has been a “recurring issue”. I am sure he can find his game, but for now he seems to be a drop and see kind of guy.

Conor Sheary – 9GP 3-1-4. As fast as he was put on the top line, he was taken off it. This may be a revolving door for him and Skinner all season, but Sheary has next-to-no value unless he is on that top line.

HOLD:

Jordan Staal – 9GP 4-2-6. I see this guy getting dropped faster than as if he was announced to be out for the season. Relax guys! We aren’t even a month into fantasy. Staal got off to a hot start, but is now pointless in his last five. However, he is still logging monster TOI which is a big upside for me. I would hold for now, and maybe even look to pick up if he’s been dropped in your league.

Jaccob Slavin – 9GP 0-4-4. Same thing for this fellow Cane. Still plays monster minutes, and pumps a decent amount of SOG. Don’t hit the panic button just yet!
