I said early last week that I was going to post an updated hold/stream list today, but there’s been a change of plans.  There are only ten games total over the next four days, so I’m going to hold off on that for now.  I’ll get that posted later in the week.  Today, I’m just going to do a brief post looking at the schedule from today through Thursday and look at who I’d be trying to stream.  Let’s get to it!

Full schedule:

Monday – Jets @ Flyers, Devils @ Penguins

Tuesday – Jets @ Bruins, Sabres @ Blue Jackets, Flyers @ Rangers

Wednesday – Lightning @ Penguins, Sabres @ Stars

Thursday – Flyers @ Bruins, Rangers @ Devils, Blue Jackets @ Winnipeg

As you can see, despite there being ten games, we’re only looking at 10 different teams playing while the rest get back into action Friday or Saturday.  That makes it easy to make streaming decisions, but also places those guys on high priority.  The best teams to use are players on the Jets and Flyers since they play three games in this stretch.  This is especially true in a league where you have a max cap on moves for the season instead of by week.

For the Flyers, if Travis Konecny was available, he would be my first choice that he’s back on the first line.  If not, then I’d go with Nolan Patrick.  Patrick was starting to show signs with four goals in the three games before the break.  For deep leagues, Oskar Lindblom is worth considering.  He’s now on the second line and second power play unit.

For the Jets, it’s a bit more thin.  Bryan Little is the safe choice as he continues to center Laine on the second line.  If you wanted to gamble, I would take a chance on Jack Roslovic.  The former first round pick is high upside and with Ehlers out, he’s getting a chance with Laine and Little, along with the second power play unit.  Otherwise, it’s a bunch of long shots as the rest of the valuable Jets are >75% owned.

As for the top guys to stream on the other teams, we’re looking at the Sabres, Penguins, Bruins, Devils, Blue Jackets, and Rangers.  I give a small edge to using a Sabres player only because they have a back to back in the middle of this.  The problem is that there’s nobody on the Sabres I’d like to stream right now.  If I was forced to pick someone, it would probably be Evan Rodrigues since he’s scored in three straight, but he’s not that appealing.

The top two players overall for me are Bryan Rust and Dominik Simon.  Simon is getting another chance on the first line, while Rust has gone down to the second with Malkin and Kessel.  Rust is the clear #1 streaming option for me out of the players who play two games over these four days.  After that, it’s slim pickings.  I guess Boone Jenner would be next?  He’s centering the second line and second power play unit which is something.  If you’re lucky enough to be in a league with Jake DeBrusk available, that would be terrific.

That’s all for now guys.  I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but I’ll guess that it’ll be Wednesday with an updated hold/stream list.  As always, feel free to ask any questions, give any comments, or make any suggestions below.  Thanks for reading, take care!
