Loui Eriksson was moved to IR with a concussion and is out indefinitely. Boston expects Loui to be out for “an extended period of time” so if you were relying on him as a secondary scoring option, you need to look elsewhere fast.
Dion Phaneuf isn’t hurt, but he was suspended for two games yesterday for boarding the Bs’ Kevan Miller on Sunday. Adjust your lineups accordingly.
Marc Staal now has a concussion, his second in as many years and after missing significant time in the past due to concussions this has to worry the Rangers faithful. Word has it that this concussion isn’t nearly as bad as his last, but still.
Alex Tangauy had a setback in his recovery from a knee injury with a brand new hip injury as result of his knee injury corrective surgery. Lawds, he’s out indefinitely.
Joffery Lupul should return to the Leafs’ lineup tomorrow night from his battle with a groin injury, barring any setbacks.
Shane Doan didn’t travel with the team to Colorado for today’s game due to an illness, so he’s out tonight but should be back by Thursday for a title with the Isles.
Zdeno Chara is also out sick and will miss tonight’s game.
Chad Johnson is also suffering from an illness and is questionable for tonight. Maybe the Bruins should work on team hygiene?
Dougie Hamilton went back to Boston to be re-evaluated after getting hurt against the Leafs on Sunday. He’s out for at least a week according to Bs’ head coach Claude Julien.
