It’s that time again. Friday/Sunday stream targets to finish out the week. Get those claims in today so you don’t miss out! Unless you’re in one of them fancy same-day adds leagues. I love those.

Note: For the sake of uniformity and convenience on my part, only players rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues will be included. Also, a “***” denotes a priority stream, in my humble opinion.

Anaheim Ducks (@ VGK, v. MTL)

Quick note: The Ducks also play today, so tomorrow’s game is obviously the second part of a B2B. Stream one of the goalies if you need to but the matchup ain’t ideal. Almost never is when Anaheim’s concerned.

Trevor Zegras (35% rostered): Ol’ Zegras hasn’t done much overall but finally got his first goal (plus his second assist) in his last game. The deployment is still good enough to warrant a stream and hoping for the best. He’s fifth on the squad in ixG (individual expected goals) and second in iFF (individual Fenwick shots, which includes goals, saved shots, and missed shots) so that at least tells you he’s not totally worthless out there.

Jamie Drysdale (26% rostered): Drysdale is chugging minutes. Shattenkirk has had the sexier start but Drysdale is the guy actually getting the best deployment. His time will [probably] come. Never a bad idea to stream a PP1 QB and see what happens!

***Rickard Rakell (29% rostered): Ricky Raks looking a bit more like his old self with 4 G already on the year. Dude’s cranking out shots as well. Can’t complain with what he’s given us and is as good a bet as anyone else on this list to tally a goal in one (or both??) of these two games. At time of writing he’s sitting at #36 overall in one of my leagues (standard cats + blocks). Dayum. For that reason, I’m gonna call Raks the best stream of this week’s Friday/Sunday split.

Jakob Silfverberg (23% rostered): Already 1 G and 5 A on the season for Silfy. I don’t know if anyone calls him that, but I do now. Not ideal deployment and not great for much else outside of assists and the odd goal, but hey, he’s been useful.

There are really a lot more guys you could toss in here. I’m still not giving up on Max Comtois but he’s been a total dud so far. Troy Terry has been quite productive with 6 PTS in just 5 GP. Ryan Getzlaf is always a good bang stream with a chance at PPP. Cam Fowler as well. Then there’s Adam Henrique, who’s like an inverted Getzlaf: tends to score more goals than get assists but also bangs some. All these guys are widely available. Pick your poison.

Arizona Coyotes (@ WSH, @ CAR)

Quick note: It’s a four-game week for the Yotes, but they’re all on the road. And they also play today against Tampa, so it’s a B2B day traveling from Florida to DC tomorrow.

Clayton Keller (18% rostered): It’s Arizona, who is still winless on the year, but Keller scored Monday and gets good minutes. Top line, top PP. Not the most favorable matchups, though; otherwise, I’d probably label him as a priority stream. Washington has been fantastic at smothering quality scoring chances thus far, posting a -15% xGA at 5v5 (relative to league average) as a unit. Carolina has been worse (+7%), but they’re still a sound unit and could easily jump ahead early and buckle down on defense the rest of the game.

Shayne Gostisbehere (16% rostered): Meh. He’s a PP1 QB, so he’s as streamable as Drysdale is. You’re hoping for assists cuz you’re not getting anything else if those don’t come.

Lawson Crouse (3% rostered): Crouse hasn’t found the scoresheet often but is shooting some and hitting a good amount. Getting great minutes on the top line and top power play. I’d focus my attention elsewhere if hits don’t matter to you.

Ilya Lyubushkin (0% rostered): Resident Bang Daddy in the desert. Stream for H+BLK if you need them.

Carolina Hurricanes (v. CHI, v. ARZ)

Quick note: Like ANA/ARZ, the Canes also play today and thus will be B2B’ing it tomorrow. Given Frederik Andersen has been the workhorse, I assume he plays against Boston today and they save Antti Raanta for the hapless, awful, lost, laughably bad Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow. Stream that ish. Raanta is barely owned.

Jaccob Slavin (44% rostered): Slavin has five apples on the season and is a decent bang stream. I liked Slavin a lot until they decided to bring in DeAngelo. Still, Slavin isn’t a bad stream on this team against two very bad opponents. Two home matchups against CHI and ARZ is low-hanging fruit.

Jordan Staal (37% rostered): Don’t love Staal at all if hits don’t count, but most leagues count them these days. He’s also a stud in FOW leagues. Blocks a decent amount of shots for a forward, too. Basically he’s Ryan Getzlaf but a lot better.

Nino Niederreiter (23% rostered): Almost didn’t bother listing him, but meh. He can still score (scored Monday) and it’s two very bad opposing teams he’ll be playing against. Wouldn’t prioritize Nino but also wouldn’t feel awful if he’s the best option on the wire.

Columbus Blue Jackets (@ NYR, @ NJ)

***Boone Jenner (24% rostered): Jenner is a great stream right now and is honestly a borderline hold. He’s scoring, shooting, hitting, and getting all the minutes. Dual-eligible in Yahoo so you can easily fit him in somewhere. In that Yahoo league I mentioned earlier, Jenner checks in at #78 overall right now.

I…don’t really care to stream anyone else on this team lol. Maybe Vladislav Gavrikov cuz 1). his name rhymes and 2). he’s an okay banger option (and even has a surprising 3 A on the season).

New York Rangers (v. CBJ, @ SEA)

***Jacob Trouba (48% rostered): Trouba is always a good stream, even in standard formats. He’s shooting a good amount, hitting a ton, and blocking a ton. Odds are good he’s rostered if H+BLK count for you, but absolutely add him if not. Add him and hold, I say! But again, plenty of extra peripheral value here as long as shots/hits count. And even has an assist in each of his last two games.

Barclay Goodrow (3% rostered): Goodrow is a little fantasy Swiss army knife. Eligible at C/LW/RW, getting top-six minutes, and throwing his body around. Good stream for an off-chance at points but also to pad your hit totals. He logged 19:40 TOI on Monday skating with Bread Man and Strome. *Eyeballs emoji*

Sammy Blais (2% rostered): As a Blues fan, I miss Sammy Blais. He’s doing pretty well in New York when given the chance. Not getting ideal ice time by any means but is still a wrecking ball with 17 H on the year. Even has 3 A as well. There are definitely better stream options out there but don’t overlook Blais if your pickin’s are slim.
