It’s that time again. Friday/Sunday stream targets to finish out the week. Get those claims in today so you don’t miss out! Unless you’re in one of them fancy same-day adds leagues.

First off, I wanna apologize for skipping out on last week’s post. I had a household emergency…literally involved the household. A pipe burst and flooded damn near half the house. Oh what fun we had ShopVaccing and mopping all that up!

Anywho, I’m back this week with some weekend streamers for ya’s. We’ve got six teams to pick from this time around: Carolina, Chicago, Dallas, Florida, Minnesota, and (what seems to be the case every single week) Vegas.

Note: For the sake of uniformity and convenience on my part, only players rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues will be included. Also, a “***” denotes a priority stream, in my humble opinion.

Carolina Hurricanes (NSH, @PIT)

Martin Necas (48%): Necas sees top-six minutes and PP2 time and carries C/RW eligibility. Hasn’t exactly been tearing the roof down or anything lately but does have some solid production in his last 4 GP: 2 A, 9 SOG, 4 H, and 3 BLK. Two tough matchups here, so I wouldn’t go prioritizing the guy.

Jordan Staal (20%): Gotta add this guy to any streamer list. Every time Carolina has been featured in this column, this dude’s name has been there. Cuz the dude carries elite Hits upside and still knows how to score points while doing it. Has 3 PTS in his last four, with 9 SOG, 15 H, and 2 BLK. That’s pretty big time stuff for a guy who’s available in 80% of leagues.

Brady Skjei (17%): Brady is pretty streaky, but maybe you’ll hit the jackpot giving this guy a crack for a couple games this weekend. Has 12 SOG, 8 H, and 2 BLK over the last four. Quite solid SOG production from a blueliner. Could easily go pointless or could easily find the back of the net in each of these games. Should get you some peripherals either way.

Chicago Blackhawks (DAL, FLA)

***Dylan Strome (16%): Chicago cracks me up. After Kane/DeBrincat/Jones, there’s a huge drop-off in GMs that give a damn about any other Blackhawk. Strome is seeing top-six, PP1 minutes with 2 G, 1 A, 3 PPP, 12 SOG, and 2 BLK over his last four games. Extend that out to 10 games and he’s got 11 PTS (6 G, 5 A), 6 PPP, and 25 SOG. Still only 16% rostered. Given the hot mojo, C/RW eligibility, and widespread availability, Strome carries priority stream designation for these two games. Gonna go ahead and say he’s the stream of the weekend.

Kirby Dach (11%): Dach has heated up lately, scoring 4 PTS in the last four (1 G, 3 A) while adding 9 SOG and 3 H. The minutes and exposure to quality wingers are there, it’s just a matter of finding that consistent scoring touch. Still time for Dach to develop into a true NHL star.

***Brandon Hagel (4%): Yo, this kid is kinda good? Over his last 10, he’s got 5 G, 4 A, 2 PPP, 19 SOG, 11 H, and 4 BLK. Carries dual-wing eligibility. Why isn’t he more owned than just 4 freakin percent? Dude’s playing almost 20 minutes a night these days and seeing top power play. Dafuq, y’all.

Then there’s always the trio of Connor Murphy, Jake McCabe, and Calvin de Haan. Those three dudes bring the H+BLK every single night. Pick your poison; some nights it’s Murphy, others it’s de Haan, and still others it’s McCabe leading the way. De Haan is kinda my go-to guy cuz he really churns out those blocks like crazy.

Dallas Stars (@CHI, @ARZ)

Esa Lindell (21%): If you remember my last piece from a few weeks ago, I talk about BSH as my favorite stat and how Lindell is basically a bona fide BSH Bad Boi. In his last 12 games, he’s got 23 SOG, 9 H, and 21 BLK, or 53 BSH. That’s not an elite rate of BSH per game (it’s 4.42 per game, when the Big Bad BSH Bois like Nurse and Schenn and Trouba in the the 7 or 8 per game neighborhood), but it’s very serviceable. And there’s always upside for more. And he does see a little power-play time, thus potentially chipping in there as well.

Jani Hakanpaa (4%): Always a strong stream for H+BLK.

Florida Panthers (@MIN, @CHI)

Anton Lundell (29%): Florida hasn’t played in a coon’s age so I have recent stats for you, but dating back 30 days, Lundell has 1 G and 8 A in his last 9 GP. I’ve said it before, but if you happen to be in a league that counts takeaways, then odds are he’s already rostered cuz he’s hell fuggin elite at those. I really, really like this kid’s future potential.

Mason Marchment (23%): Remember that time Mason Marchment exploded for 6 PTS in a game? He went on one of the craziest little heaters I’ve ever seen, tallying 6 G, 6 A, 17 SOG, and 13 H in a span of four games. He’s only one game (well actually two since they’re playing right now and I write this; I’m just not really including it) removed from that wildness, so you could stream and see if he’s still got a little magic left in that stick.

Minnesota Wild (FLA, @EDM)

***Matt Boldy (35%): Matt Boldy is really good at hockey. Y’all are sleepin on this kid leaving him available practically two-thirds of leagues. He’s got 5 G, 6 A, 6 PPP, 27 SOG, 4 H, and 9 BLK in his last 10. That’s good for #54 overall in that span in one of my leagues. If you wanna just look at the last 14 days, he’s #18 overall! What are you waiting for? Add him. Hold him.

Jonas Brodin (11%): Talented offensive D-men don’t sit on the wire all that often, especially top-pairing ones on a sexy team like Minnesota with power-play exposure. I’d hit him with the triple-asterisk if he were a PP1 guy, though as it is he’s very streamable indeed. Has a PP assist, 7 SOG, 2 H, and 10 BLK over the last two weeks.

Vegas Golden Knights (LA, @SJ)

Reilly Smith (40%): Smith has 2 G, 1 A, 13 SOG, 9 H, and 4 BLK over his last 7 GP. Not fantastic scoring, but those are some pretty decent peripherals. Carries a fair amount of upside, and RW is always a tricky position to find value in.

William Karlsson (23%): I’ve honestly been so bored by Wild Bill since his random af goal-scoring spree of a season a few years back. I will never draft him again, but I am not opposed to streaming him. Has 6 PTS (3 PPP) in his last 9, with 24 SOG, 7 H, and 6 BLK as well. Not the worst stuff I’ve ever seen.

Evgenii Dadonov (15%): Also very boring, and nothing like the player he was in Florida. Which has surprised exactly no one. Be that as it may, he’s got good deployment and carries points + SOG upside. Give it a whirl if you need a LW/RW and your wire’s thin.
