Remarkably, we’re only one month away from the start of the NHL season, so it’s time to get things rolling at Razzball Hockey!  Today, I’m simply going to give you a preview of what’s coming on the site over the next month, along with some other small things that I would like some feedback on.

To start things off, I’m going to do a rundown of each conference focusing on the players that are new to each team, and the holes that are opened up in each lineup that will provide opportunities for others.  Expect the Eastern Conference to be out on Friday, while the Western Conference will be out early next week.  From there, I will get into my usual format for releasing rankings.  That means I start with a Top 10 and a Top 20 overall, before moving to individual positions.  The posts will be in groups of 20 players, going through approximately 100 forwards, 60 defensemen, and tiering all goaltenders.  There will be a “best of the rest” post, focusing on late round players that I am targeting to close my drafts.  I will conclude everything with my Top 200.  Depending on the timeline, I may post the Top 200 out of order, which is simply going to be a list.  All of the details behind my rankings will be in the individual position posts.

If there is a specific topic that you want me to cover in the preseason, please let it be known in the comments section below.  I have a little bit of flexibility, especially if we get additional writers to join (more on that next).  At the end of the day, I’m here to help you out with your fantasy leagues, and the easiest way to do that is through writing about what you want me to, and by you asking questions in the comments section.

I’m looking for people who are looking to join the Razzball Hockey team and write some posts.  If you’re interested, please let me know in the comments section and we’ll go from there.  I am flexible in terms of what you write about, and how often you’re contributing to the website.  For now, that’s it as I wanted to touch base with everyone and to let you know that I’m back for another year at the fantasy sports mecca.  I look forward to hearing feedback from everyone, and I’m excited to get the ball (puck) rolling again.  Thanks for reading, take care!
