I’ve been neglecting my RCL duties so it’s time for an update.. Smarch Snow deserves credit for having the worst record in all the leagues, an incredibly horawful 9-35. That’s almost as bad as I’m doing in my most important league… Congrats! But remember, there are still around 20 weeks to go so don’t give up yet… In fantasy news, Johan Franzen delivered a hat trick proving that mules are in fact excellent hockey players. Thomas Vanek continued to prove he is the fantasy MVP and I really like the Hitchcock hire by the Blues. Players like Oshie, Stewart, Berglund and Shattenkirk strike me as guys who constantly need a fire lit under their a$$, and Alred Hitchcock can do just that… Now onto RCL, which by all accounts are hummin’ along like any other fantasy hockey league – only the top half of the standings are still paying attention:
League: Cheap Seats Commissioner: Howard
Beat down of the week was Deception Dominance over Hank for Vezina 10-1. Definitely a mismatch! DD was led by Evander Kane with 3 goals and Bobby Luongo with 2 wins… I see this league shaping up to be a crazy battle for the last 2 playoff spots.. 5th Place – 10th Place are seperated by just 3 Points.
1. Deception Dominance 28-14-2 .659 58
2. The Price is Right 25-14-5 .625 55

RCL League 1; Commissioner: Matt
Big winner for the week was Motorboaters as he rode a balanced attack to score a (9–1-1) victory over the barbershop. Three goals a piece from Seguin and Evander Kane and 5 big assists from Mr. St. Louis. Bit of a letdown in the matchup between top ranked Zak Dream Team and Puck the Folice, as they played to a tie (5-5-1). Jolly Razzers’ (6-4-1) victory creates a logjam at the top of the standings with three teams separated by just two points.
1. Zak Dream Team (28-12-4, 60)
2. Jolly Razzers (28-13-3, 59)
3. Puck the Folice (27-13-14, 58)
4. Toronto Make Beliefs (24-19-1, 49)

NosefaceKillah destroyed Smarch Snow 10-1 and propelled himself into a tie for 1st place with imissbaseball. Killah was led by one of the Regular Season Twins Henrik Sedin (1G/4A/8 PIM/4 PPP/8 SOG), the Benn-master (2G/3A/+4) and Matty “Ice” Duchene (3G/2A/10SOG). And in the blind squirrel will eventually find a nut category, Jimmy Howard had a good week (1 Win/1.66/65 Saves/.929). Smarch Snow’s abysmal effort included getting literally nothing from Chris Stewart, Mark Streit, and (of course) Sidney Crosby. Here are the current standings:
