It’s that time again. Friday/Sunday stream targets to finish out the week. Get those claims in today so you don’t miss out! Unless you’re in one of them fancy same-day adds leagues. Another big weekend of streamable teams! Seven this time. Seven!

Note: For the sake of uniformity and convenience on my part, only players rostered in less than 50% of Yahoo leagues will be included. Also, a “***” denotes a priority stream, in my humble opinion.

Arizona Coyotes (@ ANA, @ VAN)

***Shayne Gostisbhere (39%): It’s strange to me how available Ghost Bear is. Yeah, it’s Arizona and all, but he’s still one of the higher scoring D-men on the season and gets top PP minutes. He shoots an okay amount is as good a PPP stream as there is.

Clayton Keller (18%): Gets big minutes, thus is streamable. Good player on a crap team. Only has 2 A over the last 14 days (just four games though) but the opportunities are there.

Lawson Crouse (8%): Man, he started hot and I had half a hope his true breakout was upon us. Hasn’t really happened yet, but he still bangs. Has 9 SOG, 16 H, and 5 BLK in his last four games.

Nashville Predators (@ CHI, @ CAR)

***Eeli Tolvanen (25%): Tolvy is still seeing top-six minutes and has been having success on the PP1 unit of late. The Preds are hot and Tolvy himself is hot: he was scoreless last game but had a goal in each of his previous four games. Provides a good rate of SOG+H, too.

Luke Kunin (5%): Speaking of SOG+H, Kunin has been a great source. Over his last six, he’s got 34 SOG+H (12 SOG, 22 H). Plus a goal and two helpers in that time. Very widely available and he gets some PP1 time as well.

Mark Borowiecki (3%): If you need purely hits, then Borocop is your man. He was a hold back in his Ottawa days if your league counted H+BLK, but his role in Smashvhille is to purely smash as many bodies against the boards as possible. Boro’s got 28 H in his last six games.

Pittsburgh Penguins (v. BUF, @ NJ)

***Evan Rodrigues (39%): I don’t know where these shots are coming from, but all of a sudden Evan Rodrigues is cranking out shots like he’s Brady Tkachuk. Almost. Last two games have seen just 1 SOG total, but before that he had 32 SOG over a six-game stretch. Getting biiig minutes and top PP. Gotta get this guy in your lineups while you can. Once the Pens are healthier, his value will be gone, but ride the wave for now! Had 1 G and 2 A (1 PPP) in his last outing.

Jeff Carter (34%): Jeff Carter can still ball! Some! He’s got 3 G and 2 A (2 PPP) over the last 14 days. Still shoots a fair amount and will throw a hit or two in there sometimes. Absolutely no longer a hold, but he’s a fair enough stream. I likes that C/RW eligibility.

Brian Dumoulin (1%): Dumoulin usually gets a shot or two (sometimes more) plus a few blocks. Doesn’t do anything else, but if you’re looking for a blocks guy who probably not rostered anywhere, here ya go.

St. Louis Blues (v. DAL, @ WPG)

***Ivan Barbashev (46%): As a Blues fan, I love me some Barby. This guys brings it every single shift. Hasn’t really translated to fantasy success until this year for some reason. Okay I lied, it’s a pretty obvious reason: top-six and top-PP minutes. Over his last seven games, he’s rocking 7 PTS (2 G, 5 A, 3 PPP), 7 SOG, 18 H, and 3 BLK. Priority stream as long as hits count.

Colton Parayko (36%): Yes! Finally! Some offensive prowess from Colton Parayko! I’ve been waiting for this to blossom for years. His slapshot is so filthy and it seems like he never wants utilize it. He’s not exactly Roman Josi’ing it up or anything, but he’s got 2 G, 2 A, 16 SOG, 10 H, and 17 BLK over the last couple weeks of action.

Nathan Walker (3 %): What a great story for the Thunder From Down Under. Yeah, I didn’t even know this, but Walker was born in Cardiff, Wales and grew up in Australia. Dude scored the most improbable of hat tricks in NHL history probably, only getting action cuz STL is ravaged with injuries and COVID cases. First Aussie to score a hatty in NHL history! Then he scored again two games later, and all the while has been shooting, hitting, and blocking. In his four games thus far, Walker has 4 G, 1 A, 13 SOG, 11 H, and 4 BLK. Little bitty guy out there doing everything he can. Relishing the moment, and it’s awesome to see. This guy’s filling cats right now, so take a look if a guy like Barbashev is taken.

Vegas Golden Knights (@ NYR, @ NYI)

Nicolas Hague (21%): Not gonna lie, I’m getting a little bored covering Vegas each week lol. Feels like they’re always on the Friday/Sunday slate. Anywho, Hague is still a good solid stream for categories, especially for elusive SOG from a defender. Usually does enough to get you some combo of 2 or 3 H+BLK as well. Not a great bet for points, but he’s capable of putting one of them shots into the back of the net. Has a nice shiny +10 rating on the year, as well.

Obligatory Brayden McNabb (11%) resident Bang Daddy shoutout.

Washington Capitals (@ WPG, v. LA)

Nick Jensen (22%): Jensen led the NHL in +/- for a while, but now he’s dropped to third place (just 1 point behind the leaders). He’s got value for that and a few bangs. Sometimes he’ll dish out 6 hits, sometimes he’ll dish out none.

Martin Fehervary (10%): Fehervary is only relevant in H+BLK leagues, but does have 1 G, 9 SOG, 14 H, and 9 BLK in his last five games.

Lars Eller (4%): Well, thanks to injuries, Ellers is seeing big minutes lately and has a goal in each of his last two games. The fact he’s seeing top-six minutes and some PP time means he’s an okay bet to luck into some points. But just an okay one.

Winnipeg Jets (v. WSH, v. STL)

Nate Schmidt (37%): With Pionk back in action, Schmidt is relegated back to PP2. He’s not even a little bit as hot as he was to start the year but still has good exposure to some quality forwards in Winnipeg. You could do better/worse here.

Brenden Dillon (9%): Dillon is an okay bang stream if you need one. There are better guys in this very article, but depending on who’s available in your league, you might want to take a look at Dillon. He plays two gritty teams in the Caps and the Blues, so the bang opportunities should present themselves.
