No need for an introduction here, the title says it all. For those who want commentary, use the rankings tab above. For guys who are outside of the top 200 (some are moving in), use this link. Here is my top 200 in one big list:
Hey everyone! Instead of simply relisting all of my top 200, I'm going to go through the guys who are moving up or down my rankings in a significant fashion, be it for injury or otherwise. If people want me to post an updated top 200 list, I can do that for Monday, but it would simply be a list without details. This post is to give you details on these movements so to follow along, here are my Top 50, Top 100, Top 150, and Top 200. I will continually update this post until the start of the season to keep everything up to date. Here are the latest movers:
It's Reid's favorite episode when he gets to tear apart my rankings! We start off recapping all of the latest news, notably Anaheim and Ottawa, two Conference Finalists from a year ago, already being gutted by injuries. After that, the new rule changes are discussed and if there is any impact in fantasy. Then Reid gets his turn bringing up his biggest qualms with my rankings and I get to defend myself. At least he said I don't have anything as crazy as some of ESPN's rankings! All of that and more in the latest edition of the Razzball Hockey Podcast brought to you by League Safe!

Once you get outside of the top 200 overall, you're looking at the last 2-3 picks in a standard 12 man league. There are a few different ways you can go about making your last few picks. You can shoot for upside, get a couple safe players if you already have plenty of upside, fill out your last couple defensemen, grab a goalie out of desperation. I'm going to list a bunch of players in different categories that fall outside of my top 200 that you can target depending on what you're looking for. I'm not going to go into detail on these guys but I will put them in my order of preference. Here is my list:
It's the final countdown! This will close out my rankings following my Top 50, Top 100 and Top 150 posts. After the Top 200, there will be a revised list coming out later in the week updating for injuries and other moves and a separate post about some players I would target with my last pick or two. Let's get right to it!
We've reached the halfway point in my rankings and it's time to approach the finish line. I will keep updating this with info for players as Friday progresses but I wanted to get the top 150 out as soon as possible. Also, sorry for the delay, but the RCL's will launch this coming Monday in the afternoon. I've had a few technical difficulties setting it up but that should be taken care of by then. Without further adieu, here is my top 150:
Since it's almost Labor Day, it's time for me to pick up the pace with my rankings. For those who haven't seen them, you can check out my Top 50 here. I'm not going to bore you with an intro, everybody wants to see my top 100 and this is going to be incredibly long as is, so let's get right to it!
51) Ben Bishop - The more research that I do, the more I'm tempted to move Bishop up even higher. Yes, last season was a disaster, but Bishop was the #1 overall player in 2015-16. But Viz, Dallas has been a train wreck defensively for years! This is true, but with Marc Methot coming on board and the growth of their young blueliners, they could take a step forward. More importantly, we've seen some goalies with far less talent than Bishop succeed in Ken Hitchcock's system *cough* Brian Elliott *cough*. It's a little risky but I'm expecting Dallas to push for the Central Division title giving Bishop massive upside across the board.
Last season for the New York Rangers was both a success and disappointment. The Rangers were the 4th team in a 4 team race in the Metro division last season but that was a huge boost to their playoff chances since that meant they would cross over into the Atlantic Division. After beating the Canadiens in the first round, the Rangers were upset by the Senators in Round 2. A few big offseason moves give the Rangers a different feel than in the past. Off went mainstays Derek Stepan and Dan Girardi, in comes Kevin Shattenkirk. A few forwards will be placed into bigger roles giving us a few potential value forwards. Let's take a look at what Alain "The Brain" Vigneault has to work with:
It's finally time! After hours of writing and nitpicking one or two spots for multiple players, my top 50 overall players for this coming season are complete. This post is long enough so no need to right a long intro, let's get right into it!
Sadly, the fantasy hockey season has come to an end. I'll have an RCL summary post up later this week along with a preview of The Stanley Cup Playoffs with Reid on Tuesday's podcast. For now, I'd like to invite everyone to join the Razzball Bracket Challenge again through the link here and to present my super early top 50 for next season. I'm not going to go into much detail at this point because so many things can change between now and six months from now when the 2017-18 regular season actually begins. This will go longer than our mock draft podcast but if you want more details about my thought process, I'd be sure to check that out. I'll be separating these guys into tiers with tier explanations but that will be the extent of the analysis. Obviously you're welcome to ask me in the comments section about anything you like / disagree with. Let's get to it!
