Hey guys! Sven here back with another Buy/Sell/Hold. I will simply be looking at what these particular players have done performance-wise so far this season, and what I anticipate. Let me know if you guys like this type of content!
ALL STATS ARE AS OF THE MORNING OF NOVEMBER 1st
BUY:
Alex Tuch – 4GP 2-1-3. Fresh off the IR, Tuch is poised to have a breakout year at #2RW for the Golden Knights. I was high on this guy going into this season as he is a towering power forward that had a great Playoffs. This guy should be owned in all leagues IMO, so snag him if you can!
Dominik Simon – 10GP 2-5-7. We have tons of players to look back on that have played Crosby’s wings and had killer seasons. Dominik Simon appears to be the next guy with a good shot at Pittsburgh stardom, currently at #1RW with Sid the Kid.
Brock Nelson – 11GP 6-1-7. The reuniting of Beauvillier-Barzal-Eberle by coach Trotz has opened up the door for Nelson to centre Lee and Bailey on the “top line”. The Islanders are doing decent this year, and Nelson is showing he can pump some goals in bunches as he is on a nice streak here. Definitely worth a stream.
Jason Pominville – 12GP 5-5-10. I’m not sure how much longer Pominville will continue to pack on points, but stream him while you can at #1RW with Eichel! Five-game point streak with multiple points in three of those.
Vince Dunn – 8GP 3-3-6. The kid looks good in his Sophomore season! Playing #1PP and starting to receive a decent amount of minutes, he is a guy on my watch list.
SELL:
Maxime Lajoie – 9GP 3-2-5. All good things come to an end. I hope you were able to sell high on Lajoie! I’m sure he will still chip some points in as the season continues, but if you were just streaming him there are other options available.
Jake DeBrusk – 12GP 3-0-0. Two things here: the B’s are appearing to be much more top-heavy than I anticipated, and the Sophomore Slump appears to be hitting DeBrusk HARD.
HOLD:
Chris Tierney – 11GP 2-9-11. This guy’s %own has practically been cut in half, but he is still chipping in points. In deeper leagues, he is still worth the own I feel!
Nick Leddy – 11GP 0-3-3. This has been the story with a lot of once-consistent defencemen in the NHL this year. Leddy’s three apples have come in the last two games, but he continues to munch minutes! In deep leagues he’s for sure an own for his minutes, so long as you’re not worried about +/-.
