What’s poppin’, Razzpimples?
If you’re new to this column or have no idea what the Friday/Sunday split is, it’s a simple yet effective way to maximize your weekly output no matter the format of your league. Typically — and it’s not always the case — heavy game loads are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, whereas Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays are lighter. Streaming players on those lighter days is almost a necessity to ensure you’re getting the most of each week, but this column focuses on just Fridays and Sundays. Reason being is that you get more bang for your waiver add buck in picking up a guy who will play those two days and will almost always be able to slot into your starting lineup without having to sacrifice someone else to the bench.
Let’s do it to it.

Four teams for this week’s Friday/Sunday split: Anaheim, Chicago, Washington, and Winnipeg.
Anaheim Ducks (FRI vWPG || SUN vDET)
Adam Henrique was a target for weekend streaming last week and is in the same spot this week. He didn’t do much at all, sadly, but he’s got the deployment you want in a streamer. If you’re in a FOW league, he’s at least a great choice for that.
Sam Carrick is a deep cut option for extra PIM and hits.
Alex Killorn is still getting great minutes, bee tee dubs. Just 14 PTS in 26 GP, though. Only stream if you’ve got no better options, cuz he’s basically boom or bust for points. Doesn’t bring a lick of peripherals.
Chicago Blackhawks (FRI @NJ || SUN vCGY)
Philipp Kurashev gets love for the third week in a row. On Fantrax, you can put this dude into any forward lineup spot. With 4 PPP in his last 7 GP, you gotta toss this dude into your lineup against NJ and CGY.
Connor Murphy, Jarred Tinordi, Nick Foligno, and Jason Dickinson are the category stuffers. You want Murphy and Tinordi for H+BLK, Foligno for big time hits and some points upside, and then Dickinson for the odd goal, good hits, and solid FOW.
Washington Capitals (FRI vCAR || SUN vLA)
Rasmus Sandin is fine stream if you need some extra apples in your life. Dude has five in his last five, with two coming on the powerplay. He actually may have more by the time you read this since I’m including what’s happening right now as I write, which I don’t usually do. Kinda random of him, but let’s ride the heat wave, shall we? Only 6 A all year before this run of brilliance.
Max Pacioretty is owned in less than half of Fantrax league and made his debut yesterday. I imagine he’ll get eased back into things, but he’s absolutely worth keeping an eye on. Potentially a fantasy season-changing acquisition if he can return to anything close to the form he’s shown before.
Beck Malenstyn is an under-the-radar choice for extra H+BLK that you can slot into your LW position.
Winnipeg Jets (FRI @ANA || SUN @ARI)
Neal Pionk loves to dish hits, so he’s always a good stream for those. He’s also finding a little scoring touch lately with 5 PTS in his last eight. The plus-minus is strong, and the SOG aren’t terrible for a D-man.
Nino Niederreiter has pretty solid goal upside while bringing good SOG for a streamer, and he even likes to throw some hits into the mix.
Adam Lowry brings a little bit of everything. He can score some, dish a few apples, has good plus-minus, collects PIM, shoots the puck (at least lately), throws the body around, blocks some shots, and wins faceoffs.
With five points in his last three, Vladislav Namestnikov is at least worth expending some brain cells on. He’s pretty much only good for assists and just a small handful of FOW, though.
Dominic Toninato is like a super deep league kinda guy, but I can’t say I’m not impressed so far. Four games, 4 PTS, +5 rating, 11 H, and 5 BLK. And that’s all from a center who’s averaging like 9 minutes a game lol. But hey, in a cats banger, what’s not to like?
