Reid and I are back and as always, we open by starting with the newest injuries around the league. Sadly, there were a bunch of them, including to Corey Crawford and Alex Galchenyuk. Johnny Gaudreau and Taylor Hall returned over the weekend so we break down the impact for both the Flames and the Devils respectively. Next, goalies become the focal point with Steve Mason, Mike Smith and Chad Johnson all on fire. After that, we both rank a set of players who have played their way into must-own status. Tuesday Streamers:
Matthew Tkachuk (15.6%) – The minutes are up despite him taking a ton of penalties (a double bonus for us) and the Stars have been poor defensively despite the shutout against Colorado last time out. You could go with any of the Flames wingers we talked about on this podcast.
Kevin Fiala (1.7%) – He played a whopping 19 minutes last time out and while he didn’t score, he had 3 goals the previous 2 games. A home game against Colorado should see Nashville run the Avs out of the building.
Drew Stafford (2.3%) – The Jets are getting healthy giving Stafford better options to play with. A home game with Detroit is a great spot.
